About Us
Thank you for visiting So Wrapped Up! My name is Becky, and I am the owner of So Wrapped Up! I have always enjoyed doing things that allowed me to use my creativity. I designed my own wedding invitations and programs, created candy wrappers for some birthdays and baby showers, and designed my husband's business cards for his contracting company.
I have an extensive art background that started as a child. I was always interested in drawing and doing crafts, and decided to apply to art school. I have a B.F.A. in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, and worked for the federal government as a designer for 5 years. I became pregnant with my son, Elijah, and on May 12, 2008, he was born. He was 7 weeks premature, and had to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks after his birth. When we finally brought him home, I decided that I would stay at home full time with him instead of returning to my position with the federal government.
Being a full time mom is the toughest job I've ever had! I was looking for ways to have some adult stimulation and use my creativity, and started seriously considering starting a business. I decided I wanted to do personalized candy wrappers and event favors, and So Wrapped Up! was born. It's been hard work, but well worth it. I love being able to use my creativity and design candy wrappers that make someone's event more special. So the next time you want something unique for your occasion, remember So Wrapped Up!
